If you want to build a theory of participation. You should first find out what is the very nature of the phenomenon you theoretise about. In our seeking for proper deffinition, following Karol Wojtyla, we decided to define participation as a developmental process. Process which combines three elements. Doing it together with others, and having both individual (subjective) and organizational (objective) goals in mind. Although the process is undertaken in social context every (participating) person has freedom of choice all through it. |

There is no doubt love is difficult art. When you look at the unhappy marriages, divorces, it looks only few know how to do it. At the same time, however there is no theme in our culture that would have more books, pieces of art or theories. One is taught (or used to be taught) love from the very moment of birth. The situation of participation is even worse. It is also and art, it is also very difficult, unfortunately it has very little attention from artists or scholars. This is why every piece of advise, every system that helps to implement participative systems should be aplauded and widely published. |

Writing a blog is usually considered to be a time consumer. I hope this will not be the case with me. As a scholar working on ideas I am destinied not to receive feedback on my work earlier then in a year. This makes me wander all around different forums to share my views and test and let them mature on someone else's experience and knowledge. I decided to give all this wandering up and write one blog and to invite all interested to this one place.
